Enrichment

One of our best resources is the parents. One way we pull from that resource is with the "Enrichment" activity. Each day one parent from each class provides an enrichment project for the students. The parent performs the role of teacher for the entire project from development of project idea to providing and organizing the materials to assisting students with the task. Of course the internet provides tons of ideas for projects, but it can be as simple as bringing a favorite game to share with the class.

We also have a lending library in the office with books full of ideas for enrichment as well as books on all topics of parenting. Our enrichment books and library books are available for check out by families. Here are just a few enrichments parents have brought to share.
