Discovery Play

Children can choose from any of the activities set up in our classroom: In addition to these choices, "centers" are set up each class day with fresh fun explorations. All the centers, small group and circle time activities relate to the weekly theme. It's how children learn best.

We work on extending the length of their circle time throughout the year in preparation for kindergarten.

The class is broken into small groups for a variety of different activities and also so the teacher can do assessments.
